South China Aluminum: Markets Ready for Holiday

Banking business was stopped in the afternoon given the end of the quarter and the upcoming holiday, the whole market was rather quiet.
SHANGHAI, Sept. 30 (SMM) -- Today is the last trading day before China’s National Day holiday. Banking business was stopped in the afternoon given the end of the quarter and the upcoming holiday, so spot aluminum markets in south China were quiet in the afternoon. Quotations stood above RMB 17,000/mt and only sparse transactions were done between RMB 17,000-17,020/mt in the morning business. In general, the whole market was rather quiet.
