SMM Morning Review - 2011/9/26 Lead Market

LME lead prices overnight fluctuated between USD 2,010-2,100/mt after opening.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 26 (SMM)--LME lead prices overnight fluctuated between USD 2,010-2,100/mt after opening. As concerns over global economic outlook exacerbated, and as the US dollar index continued to fluctuate at 78, LME lead prices plunged to USD 2,000/mt, closing at USD 1,922/mt, down USD 158/mt, down USD 7.6%.

LME lead prices should fluctuate around the USD 2,000/mt mark today.

The US dollar index closed at 78.255.

Domestic spot lead prices should be between RMB 14,100-14,300/mt.
