SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 (SMM)--SHFE lead prices opened lower and inched down, pushing down spot prices. Well-known brands such as Nanfang and Chihong Zn & Ge were quoted between RMB 16,220-16,230/mt, with discounts narrowing to negative RMB 200-250/mt against SHFE 1110 lead contract prices. Other brands such as Hanjiang and Chengyuan were quoted between RMB 16,150-16,200/mt. Traders were holding goods due to lower prices, while downstream buyers were also cautious, leaving transactions quiet.
