SHFE lead prices opened higher and hovered around the moving average later today.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 (SMM)--SHFE lead prices opened higher and hovered around the moving average later today. Spot discounts of well-known brands such as Nanfang and Chihong Zn & Ge were around negative RMB 300/mt against SHFE 1110 lead contract prices, and with traded prices between RMB 16,180-16,220/mt. Quotations for other brands were rarely reported. A wait-and-see sentiment dominated the market, leaving transactions still quiet.

SHFE 1511 lead once moved higher to RMB 13,245/mt after opening Monday evening session at RMB 13,190/mt.
