DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) –China's apparent consumption of refined copper was 668 kt in July, up 15 kt from June.
SMM believes the increases in China's apparent consumption of refined copper were due largely to the increases in refined copper imports. Considering the increases in July's copper inventories, real consumption during July was less active than June after deducting the increases in copper inventories, although July apparent consumption of refined copper increased.
