Shandong Huajian Aluminum Company Commissions 4,600 mt/yr Large Extruder

SHANGHAI, Aug. 15 (SMM) -- On August 8th, Shandong Huajian Aluminum Company commissioned its 4,600 mt/yr large extruder, marking a big step in the company’s development of industrial aluminum profile capacity. The installation and debugging of the extruder began in late 2010 and is now completed. The extruder will now mainly produce high-end industrial profiles.

The proportion of industrial aluminum profile consumed in China’s total consumption of aluminum profile has risen steadily each year and is expected to reach 45-50% by 2015, with industrial profile gradually gaining the dominant market position. Currently, Liaoning Zhongwang Group, Shandong Conglin Group, as well as other industrial profile manufacturers have recently put new large extruders into operation in order to gain more market share.
