SHANGHAI, Aug. 9 (SMM) -- NPI producers ceased to quote offers after LME nickel prices falling for the fifth consecutive days. Meanwhile, stainless steel mills suspended purchases of NPI, leaving quiet transactions of NPI. Two NPI producers revealed that NPI prices are on downward track, and they plan to cut or halt production.
