Nearly 20% Lead-acid Battery Enterprises in Shandong Maintain Production

The Shandong Provincial Bureau of Environmental Protection released the progress of inspections at local lead-acid battery enterprises on July 31.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM)--The Shandong Provincial Bureau of Environmental Protection released the progress of inspections at local lead-acid battery enterprises on July 31. According to sources, among the 124 lead-acid battery enterprises, only 23 are maintaining normal production, accounting for 19% of total inspected enterprises.

The lead-acid battery enterprises maintaining normal production are mainly located in Jinan, Weifang, Taian, Zibo, Zaozhuang, Yantai, Jining, Rizhao, Liucheng and Dezhou regions.

Those enterprises maintaining production now are of large scale except for 2 small scale enterprises.
