KGHM Starts Seeking Copper Deposits in Germany, Parkiet Says

KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH began searching for copper deposits in the German state of Saxony.

Jul. 16 (Bloomberg) –KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH), a Polish copper producer, yesterday began searching for copper deposits in the German state of Saxony, Parkiet reported, citing Jolanta Dmowska, head of the company’s unit in charge of the project.

The first stage of drilling will be completed by March and cost as much as 52 million zloty ($18.3 million), the daily said.
