SHANGHAI, Jan. 5 (CBI China) -- North China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 25,500-25,800/mt, prices rose sharply, but traders were reluctant to sell and the interest of the downstream in purchase was high, leading slim transactions.
East China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 25,000-25,300/mt, the supply was tight, with moderate enthusiasm of the buyers and muted transactions.
South China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 25,500-25,700/mt, many scrap copper producers were on holiday, leading limited transactions and muted market transactions.
