[Cu] Summary - 2008/12/26 Scrap Copper Market

SHANGHAI, Dec. 26 (CBI China) -- North China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 24000-24300/mt, prices remained stable, traders adhered to their offer, leading slim transactions.

    East China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 23000-23300/mt, the supply became tighter, bright copper wire supply was also tight, leading weak market sentiment.

    South China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 23500-23700/mt, the consumption was weakening, although the prices fell. The supply remained tight, with muted transactions.
