[Cu] CBI Morning Review - 2008/12/16 Copper Market

SHANGHAI, Dec. 16 (CBI China) -- U.S. and European stocks fell, the inventory increased, which dragged down prices of metals, three-month LME copper closed at USD 3104/mt, down USD 61/mt. The inventories increased 8,000 mt, with a total inventory amounting to 314,925 mt. Although the weak trend of LME copper unchanged, the dollar's slump has to stop its decline, recently the trend of LME copper will continue to be affected by the dollar. The premium and discounts will likely decline.
