SHANGHAI, Nov. 14 (CBI China) -- Tariff Policy Commission of the State Council announced to adjust export rate of some products, effective from December 1, 2008. According to CBI’s understanding of the notification, we find that:

     1. The adjustment only individually listed out one kind of all non-alloy and aluminum alloy rods which all bearing 15% export rate, an aluminum alloy rod with cross-section perimeter less than 210 mm, and cut its export down to 5%, while no change on export rate of remaining products.

     2. As the determining of export rebate rate and export tariff are under separate departments, the Tariff Policy Commission only announced export tariff adjustment this time, the resumption of aluminum profiles export rebate which was highly concerned previously is not listed in the notice.  We still have to wait for the announcement of new policy adjustments.
