Euro Rises against Dollar, Yen in Tokyo

TOKYO, Jul. 1 -- The euro rose against the U.S. dollar and yen in Tokyo on Thursday morning on eased Greek debt concerns.
At noon, the euro was quoted at 1.4496-4499 dollars and 116.63- 64 yen against 1.4428-4438 dollars and 116.61-71 yen in New York and 1.4392-4393 dollars and 116.68-72 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The dollar fetched 80.44-47 yen versus 80.72-82 yen in New York and 81.07-08 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
