Nikkei Opens 1.27 Pct Higher
Mar 25, 2011 08:59TOKYO, Mar. 25 -- Tokyo stocks opened higher Friday with the key Nikkei index up 1.27 percent.
At 9:15 a.m., the benchmark Nikkei 225 Average jumped 120.14 points to 9,555.15.
The broader Topix index was up 8.28 points to 862.23.
