SHANGHAI, Mar. 2 -- Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Manufacturing Co. (000612.SZ) Wednesday said it expects to fully restart 140,000 metric tons or one-third of its total aluminum capacity by mid-April.
The company had idled 140,000 tons of capacity in October due to constrained power supply following government restrictions, but has recently been ramping up production as electricity supply has improved after the Lunar New Year holidays, the Henan-based company said in a statement.
It didn't say whether the idled capacity had affected its output target of 423,800 tons for 2010.
Around 0328 GMT, the company's shares were down 1.7% at CNY20.67.
