DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingFeb. 15 -- Shanghai port reported a new monthly record container throughput last month, the company which runs China's biggest port said in a statement Friday.
The port handled 2.7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 21 percent from the same month last year, it said.
The figure, higher than the last record of 2.64 million TEUs in last August, was a sign of recovering exports ahead of Chinese Lunar New Year, which fell on February 3.
