DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingMUMBAI, Feb 01, 2011 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- India's state-run and private companies produced 1.20 million metric tons of aluminum in the April-December period, up from 1.11 million tons a year earlier, according to data from the ministry of mines Tuesday.
The country produced 485,946 tons of copper during the period, down from 523,942 tons, while its zinc output rose to 542,814 tons from 455,838 tons.
India's lead output was 41,186 tons during the April-December period, compared with 45,974 tons.
