MOSCOW, Dec. 8 -- Russia exported in January to October 2.88 million metric tons of aluminum, 3% less than in the corresponding period last year, the federal customs service reported Tuesday.
The exported aluminum was worth $5.03 billion compared with $4.09 billion a year ago.
Aluminum exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States during the period totaled 2.74 million tons worth $4.98 billion compared with $2.84 million tons worth $4.06 billion a year ago.
