






LONDON, Nov 01, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Discovery Metals Ltd (DME.LN), a copper exploration and development company, said Monday that the Tawana Land board has approved the granting of surface rights at the Boseto Copper Project in north-west Botswana.
MAIN FACTS:
-Approval of the surface rights is also the last external approval prerequisite to the Botswana Department of Mines completing the processing of the Boseto mining lease application.
-Mobilization of the Boseto site access road contractor will commence within days.
-Access to the site for the EPC plant construction contractor (Sedgman) remains on schedule.
-This approval marks the on schedule start of the construction phase at Boseto.
-Shares closed Friday at 72 pence, valuing the company at GBP217.6 million.
