DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightLONDON, Sept. 25 -- Total world aluminum output in August rose 0.2% on the month to 2.061 million metric tons, according to figures released Tuesday by the International Aluminum Institute.
Output in August was 5,000 tons higher than in the previous month, and 106,000 tons, or 5.4%, above output in August 2009.
The daily output during the month averaged 66,500 tons, up from 66,300 tons a day in July.
