DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightMOSCOW, Sep 08, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Russia exported 1.966 million metric tons of aluminum in January-July, 4% less than in the corresponding period last year, the federal customs service reported Wednesday.
The exported aluminum was worth $3.538 billion, while the exports a year ago were worth $2.995 billion.
Aluminum exports to countries outside the Commowealth of Independent States during the period totaled 1.948 million tons worth $3.5 billion compared with 2.035 million tons worth $2.976 billion in January-July 2009.
