China-Made Autos' Wholesale Sales Surge 42.65% in Jan-July

BEIJING, Aug. 10 -- Wholesale sales in China of domestically-made autos surged 42.65 percent year-on-year to 10.26 million units in the January-July period, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said here Monday.

Production of domestically-made vehicles jumped 43.64 percent year on year to 10.21 million units in the first seven months, the CAAM data also showed.

Ternary Precursor Supply Increased MoM in November on the Continuously Ramped-up Output of New Capacity

The output of precursors stood at 59,000 mt in November, up 2% MoM and 50% YoY. On the supply side, the companies were basically not affected by power rationing, except for some enterprises in Zhejiang in early November. In addition, the overall supply has increased due to the ramped-up output of and commissioning of new capacity at some major precursor companies.
