MUMBAI, Aug 4 -- Leading Indian aluminium maker Hindalco Industries (HALC.BO: Quote) is raising aluminium prices by 7,500 rupees ($163) per tonne effective immediately on higher world prices, Chief Financial Officer Sunirmal Talukdar told reporters.
Earlier on Tuesday, Hindalco beat market forecasts to post an 11 percent rise in June quarter standalone net profit. ($1 = 46.1 rupees)
