Zhejiang Wanfeng's 2010 Europe Sales May Fall 40% on EU Tariff

SHANGHAI, May 12 -- Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel Co. said its sales to Europe may fall 40 percent this year because of a tariff imposed by the European Union on imports of aluminum car wheels from China, according to a filing to Shenzhen's stock exchange.

The company had estimated sales of 308 million yuan to Europe this year, according to the statement. The EU imposed a 20.6 percent tariff on aluminum car wheels from China yesterday.
