China's 2010 Aluminium Output above 15 mln T - Expert
May 7, 2010 16:26SHANGHAI, May 7 -- China's aluminium output this year may reach more than 15 million tonnes and its smelting capacity to grow between 2 to 3 million tonnes, an industry group official said on Friday.
Wen Xianjun, vice chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, said at a conference that China's aluminium smelting capacity increase would be against 20.6 million tonnes last year.
China's aluminium output was 13 million tonnes in 2009.
