SHANGHAI, Feb. 12 -- Southwest Aluminum Group reported that the output of aluminum semis was 23,604 mt during January, up 9,710 mt on a yearly basis, or up 69.88%.

Southwest Aluminum Group experienced difficulties in January, including electric power shortages and annual unit maintenance, but the group took effective measures along with the improving macro economic environment, helping increase orders gradually. Meanwhile, the group also managed to minimize losses caused by power rationing, helping maintain normal operations. In this context, the group achieved a growth rate of 69.88% in their output of aluminum semis in January.
