The U.S. Announces Final Result of Anti-dumping against China's Export of Silicon Metal

SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 -- On Jan. 6th, 2010, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced final result of anti-dumping against China's export of silicon metal. Final anti-dumping tariffs for two Chinese enterprises, Shanghai Jinneng International Trade Co., Ltd and Jiangxi Gangyuan Silicon Industry were 23.16% and 50.02% respectively. Tariff for other Chinese enterprises were all at 139.49%.

The U.S. Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping on China's export of silicon metal on June 30th, 2008, and announced its preliminary rule on this case on July 9th, 2009.
