Copper Market Had 3,000-Ton Surplus in September, Group Says

Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Copper production outpaced consumption by 3,000 metric tons in September, the International Copper Study Group said.
The deficit for the first nine months of the year was 52,000 tons, the Lisbon-based group said today in an e-mailed statement.
