SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 (SMM) -- Transactions were lukewarm in metal markets before the release of Chinese economic data. LME copper prices fluctuated narrowly and the rebounding US dollar index exerted downward pressure on copper prices. LME copper prices closed at USD 6,530/mt, down USD 10/mt. LME copper inventories increased by 4,675mt, bringing total inventories to 394,150mt. Copper imports will not likely remain high during October, so the release of Chinese economic data will likely have downward pressure on copper prices today.
