상하이선물거래소, 상하이 지역 구리·알루미늄·아연 선물 창고 용량 조정 승인

On August 31, Chile's National Statistics Institute (INE) reported that the country's industrial production index fell 5.1% year-on-year in July. Within that, the mining production index (IPMin) declined 7.2%, with metallic mining down 10.7%, subtracting 9.301 percentage points from the index, mainly on lower copper extraction and processing. USGS data show Chile accounted for roughly 16% of global molybdenum output in 2025. The recent output losses at Chile's copper-molybdenum mines have been concentrated at the beneficiation stage, which hits by-product molybdenum harder than copper; global molybdenum supply is therefore expected to feel the impact in 2026.

엘도라도 골드는 서스캐처원주 맥킬베나 베이 구리-아연 광산의 처리 용량을 하루 4,900톤에서 약 7,000톤으로 43% 확장하는 방안을 평가 중이며, 은-납 회수 공정 추가도 함께 검토하고 있다. 2026년 3분기 상업 생산을 목표로 증산하는 동안 처리할 수 있는 광석이 40만 톤 이상 확보되어 있다. 기존 타당성 계획에 따르면 광산 수명 기간 동안 연평균 구리 생산량은 약 4,100만 파운드(18.6kt)에 달할 전망이다.

원앤원 그린 테크놀로지스는 필리핀의 새로운 금속 회수 라인을 위해 구리 함유, 니켈 및 전자 슬러지를 포함한 2,000톤 이상의 원료를 확보했습니다. 장비 설치가 진행 중이며 2026년 말 이전 생산을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 이 시설은 산업 및 전자 폐기물에서 구리, 니켈, 금, 은을 회수하여 복합 2차 금속 원료에 대한 새로운 현지 처리 역량을 추가할 것입니다.
