앨고마 스틸 그룹 Inc.는 레이크 슈피리어 파워(LSP) 발전 시설의 터빈 유닛 중 하나에서 불시 정지가 발생해 전기로(EAF) 생산이 중단됐다고 밝혔다. 해당 터빈은 자동으로 정지됐으며 다른 유닛에는 영향이 없었다. 앨고마는 전력망 운영자와 대체 전력 방안을, GE Vernova와 예비 터빈을 협의 중이며, 이번 정지는 21일 미만, 최소 10일 지속될 것으로 예상하고 있다. 현재 납기일은 영향을 받지 않을 것으로 예상된다.
