[SMM 알루미늄 익스프레스 뉴스] JISCO는 자메이카의 ALPART 알루미나 정제소 현대화 및 재가동 1단계에 4억 9천만 달러를 투자하기로 했다. 이번 투자로 가공 시스템, 발전 설비, 잔류물 건식 적재, 철도 및 항만 인프라가 개선되며, 1단계에서 연간 100만 톤의 알루미나 생산 능력을 복원한 후 2단계에서 200만 톤으로 확장한다. JISCO는 2026년 말 이전에 착공하고, 2027년 6월 이전에 재개발 프로젝트를 공식 출범시키는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

[SMM Aluminum Alloy Flash] China's social inventory of cast aluminum alloy ingots stood at 33,000 mt this week, up 1,200 mt WoW, marking the fourth consecutive week of inventory buildup. On a YoY basis, current inventory decreased by 38,400 mt compared to the same period last year, a decline of 53.8%. Currently in the early stage of the peak season, downstream enterprises are purchasing mainly on rigid demand, and the demand side has yet to fully recover. Some spot traders' purchases have supplemented inbound inventory to a certain extent. In the short term, social inventory is expected to continue its slight buildup trend.
