[전고체 배터리: 에코프로비엠, '원료-소재-전지' 전 주기 아우르는 전고체 배터리 팀 구성, 2027년 상용화 목표] 2026년 8월 26일, 에코프로비엠은 경기도에서 킥오프 회의를 열고 '원료-소재-전지' 전 주기를 아우르는 '전고체 배터리 팀'을 공식 출범했다. 이 사업은 한국 산업통상자원부가 주관하며, 에코프로비엠은 8월 초 4개 기업과 함께 3단계 '슈퍼 하청기업'으로 선정됐다. 팀에는 한국전자기술연구원(KETI), 한국과학기술연구원(KIST), 포항공과대학교(POSTECH), 한양대학교 등이 참여한다. 에코프로비엠은 고순도 황화리튬 기반의 황화물계 고체 전해질을 개발하고, 2027년까지 황화물계 전고체 배터리 상용화를 목표로 하고 있다. 연합뉴스 등 한국 언론이 8월 31일 보도했다.

브라질 인터솔라 사우스 아메리카(8월 25~27일)에서 약 20개 중국 에너지저장 기업이 전시에 참가했다. 추넝뉴에너지는 4개 파트너와 계약을 체결했는데, 아르헨티나 Intermepro, 브라질 ION Energy 및 JSN Energia와 MOU를 맺었고, 윈디에너지와는 1.5GWh 셀 프레임워크 계약을 체결해 브라질 바이아주 첫 해외 저장공장에 셀을 공급하기로 했다. 취약한 전력망, 20.6%의 출력 제한율, 세계 두 번째로 높은 주거용 전기요금을 가진 브라질은 2026년 12월 라틴아메리카 최대 규모의 국가 저장 입찰(1차 약 18GW)을 시작할 예정이며, CATL, 트리나, 하이시움, CLOU, 고션, 그레이트파워가 현지 확장에 나서고 있다.
