Vedanta Sets New Record in Alumina Production in India with 2.421 Million MT in FY2025

In FY2025 (April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025), Vedanta's alumina production in India reached 2.421 million mt, a new record high, up 2.11% YoY, slightly lower than the previous growth rate of 3%. Among them, the annual production of Jharsuguda smelter increased by 3% to 1.83 million mt, while the production of Bharat smelter increased slightly by 1% to 592,000 mt. Despite the impact on quarterly production due to supply chain disruptions, driven by expansion projects, Vedanta's alumina production increased by 9% in FY2025.
