The Gezhouba Consortium Won the Bid for the 60MW/120MWh ESS Power Station EPC Project in Xinjian Town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province.

Polaris Energy Storage Network learned that on April 22, the winning announcement for the 60MW/120MWh ESS power station (EPC) project in Xinjian Town, Yixing was released. The consortium of China Gezhouba Group First Engineering Co., Ltd. and China Energy Engineering Group Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. won the project with a bid of 1.2487 billion yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 1.041 yuan/Wh.

The bid inviter for the project was Xingjian Purui (Yixing) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. The project is located in Yixing City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and involves the construction of an ESS power station with a total scale of 60MW/120MWh. Bidders were required to have undertaken at least one ESS project with a capacity of 30MW or above in the past five years (from March 1, 2020, to the present, based on the contract signing date), whether in construction or design.
