The Ministry of Commerce: As of March 28, the number of applications for this year's car "trade-in" subsidies has exceeded 1.769 million. Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, stated at the China EV100 Forum (2025) held today that as of March 28, the number of applications for the 2025 car "trade-in" subsidies has exceeded 1.769 million. Since the beginning of this year, the cumulative retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles nationwide have exceeded 2.05 million units, an increase of approximately 34% compared to the same period last year.
