SHFE aluminum showed a weak consolidation today. At the beginning of the week, processing fees were generally raised, but downstream buyers were not in a hurry to purchase and mostly tried to lower prices. Suppliers also lowered their quotes during the day. The supply of goods was relatively ample, and actual transactions involved volume discounts. Today, the processing fees for aluminum billets in Foshan were reported at 180/230, up by 70; in Wuxi, the processing fees were 250/300, up by 0/20; and in Nanchang, the processing fees were 200/250, up by 80.
