Environmental Protection Ends, Operating Rates of Galvanising Producers Rise: The operating rates of galvanising producers recorded 60.64% this week, up 1.43 percentage points WoW. In terms of raw material inventory, zinc prices fell to a more acceptable level for downstream enterprises this week, stimulating them to buy the dip, leading to an increase in zinc ingot inventory.

In terms of raw material inventory, this week, zinc prices fell to a more acceptable level for downstream enterprises, stimulating them to buy the dip, leading to an increase in zinc ingot inventory. The main reason for the rise in operating rates this week was that north China did not experience environmental protection-driven production restrictions, allowing all enterprises to resume normal production. For galvanized pipes, although there was a slight pullback in black commodities this week, the shipment situation of galvanized pipes remained relatively stable. The end-use market showed good operation, with orders mainly concentrated in large enterprises, driving up the overall operating rate. Meanwhile, due to better sales, finished product inventories decreased slightly. Regarding galvanized structural components, PV orders were below expectations, but steel tower orders remained strong, with good operation at steel tower enterprises. Guardrail orders increased YoY, but were mainly concentrated in large factories, and export orders were also relatively stable. Export orders were also relatively stable, but there were significant differences in operating rates between large, medium, and small enterprises. It is expected that next week, the operating rates will maintain a fluctuating trend, around 60.8%.
