Proton Motors Seizes New Opportunities in Hydrogen Highways

At the signing ceremony for key projects in the Qin Chuangyuan Hydrogen Energy Industry Innovation Cluster and the industry chain collaboration, Proton Motors signed a contract for 100 units of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks. These vehicles will be operated on the expressway between Shangluo and Xi'an, expanding the large-scale application of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in long-distance logistics transportation. During the signing ceremony, Proton Motors also signed a procurement agreement with an entering enterprise for 49 mt heavy truck 6*385 carbon fiber hydrogen supply systems, delivering the first batch of 20 sets of new type IV carbon fiber cylinder products. Through industry chain collaboration, it aims to drive breakthroughs in core technologies for hydrogen-powered heavy trucks, continuously improving their driving range and cost-effectiveness. As the top-tier enterprise with the highest market share in domestic hydrogen-powered heavy trucks and the chain leader of Xi'an's "hydrogen" industry chain, Proton Motors will adhere to the guidance of the "Four New" principles, continuously promoting the application of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in cross-regional, medium- to long-distance, and heavy-load transportation scenarios within Shaanxi Province. It will lead the incubation of the hydrogen energy industry alliance through product and technological innovation, jointly building a new scenario for hydrogen highways and creating a new ecosystem for the hydrogen energy industry.
