Mid-week, domestic aluminum ingot inventory sharply decreased by 28,000 mt. The supply-demand imbalance in the fundamentals was not significant. During the week, SHFE aluminum bottomed out, and the price pullback stimulated improved buying sentiment downstream. Although aluminum billet inventory continued to destock, the current market supply remained relatively loose. Suppliers intended to stand firm on quotes, but demand mainly faced resistance, with purchasing under pressure. There were signs of trading volume recovery. Trading in Foshan improved during the week, with the aluminum billet market quoted at 130/180, up 50 WoW; the trading sentiment in Wuxi warmed up, with processing fees quoted at 180/250, up 80 WoW; Nanchang maintained just-in-time purchasing, with processing fees quoted at 120/170, up 20 WoW.
