Today, SHFE aluminum fluctuated downward overall. Initial quotes for processing fees remained firm, but downstream acceptance was poor, with weak demand. The market was mainly supplied by truck transportation, with overall circulation relatively loose, and actual transactions relied on volume discounts. Today, the Foshan aluminum billet market quoted 150/200, up 20; the Wuxi market processing fees were quoted at 200/250, up 50; and the Nanchang region processing fees were quoted at 150/200, up 80 (unit: yuan/mt).

SMM March 11 News: On March 11, SMM A00 aluminum was quoted at 20,710 yuan/mt, down 60 yuan/mt, with a discount of 40 yuan/mt against the March contract, up 10 yuan/mt. On the same day, SMM A00 aluminum (Foshan) was quoted at 20,700 yuan/mt, down 50 yuan/mt, with a discount of 50 yuan/mt against the current month, narrowing by 20 yuan/mt. (Unit: yuan/mt) Regarding aluminum billet inventory, according to SMM statistics, domestic aluminum billet inventory stood at 161,600 mt in Guangdong and 67,400 mt in Wuxi, with a total decrease of 2,500 mt.
