From March 1 to March 7, 2025, the weekly operating rate of SMM secondary lead in four provinces was 62.91%, a WoW increase of 10.94 percentage points. In Anhui, the resumption progress of large smelters was previously delayed due to equipment failures, but maintenance was completed and production resumed this week, leading to a 7.92 percentage point increase in the regional operating rate. In Henan, some smelters ramped up production, resulting in a 5.04 percentage point increase in the regional operating rate. The operating rate in Jiangsu remained relatively stable, while in Inner Mongolia, the operating rate of large secondary lead smelters surged by 49.37 percentage points after resuming production and ramping up. Due to the gradually tightening supply of raw materials, production growth is expected to slow down next week.
