Ningbo Zinc: Purchase Remains Unchanged, Premiums Continue to Decline [SMM Midday Review]

SMM March 7 News: The mainstream transaction price of 0# zinc in the Ningbo market was around 24,045-24,130 yuan/mt. Conventional brands in Ningbo quoted a premium of 15 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract and a premium of 30 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot. The mainstream brands in Ningbo quoted against the 2503 contract. During the first time period, Qilin quoted a premium of 0-50 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, while Baiyin quoted on par with the 2504 contract. During the second time period, traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous period. Today, the supply in the Ningbo market was limited, but the futures market remained at a high level. Downstream inquiries for purchases were still sluggish, and some traders continued to lower spot premiums to facilitate sales. Spot transactions were mostly settled later, and overall trading remained sluggish.
