[Shanghai Zinc: Futures Market Rose Significantly, Premiums Fell MoM] Today, the mainstream transaction prices of 0# zinc were concentrated at 23,850-24,055 yuan/mt, with Shuangyan traded at 23,960-24,155 yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices of 1# zinc at 23,780-23,985 yuan/mt. SMM March 6 News: Today, the mainstream transaction prices of 0# zinc were concentrated at 23,850-24,055 yuan/mt, with Shuangyan trading at 23,960-24,155 yuan/mt, and 1# zinc mainstream transaction prices at 23,780-23,985 yuan/mt. In the early trading session, market quotations against the average price were at premiums of 0-10 yuan/mt, with fewer quotations against futures. During the second trading session, ordinary domestic zinc was quoted against the 2504 contract at discounts of 10 yuan/mt to premiums of 10 yuan/mt, silver zinc was quoted at premiums of 10 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, Huize zinc at premiums of 80 yuan/mt, and the high-priced brand Shuangyan at premiums of 100 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract. Today, zinc prices in the futures market rose above 24,000 yuan/mt (metal content) and fluctuated at highs. Although market traders showed strong sentiment to stand firm on quotes in the morning, downstream enterprises were hesitant due to high prices, resulting in almost no inquiries or purchases today. Some traders lowered their spot zinc quotations to facilitate sales, leading to a significant decline in spot market transactions, which were mainly conducted between traders.
