Yangzhou Bangjie Temporarily Suspends PV Cell Production Due to Industry Competition and Losses

On March 3, 2025, Bangjie Co., Ltd. announced that its second-tier subsidiary, Yangzhou Bangjie New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yangzhou Bangjie"), has been affected by intensified competition in the PV industry and a significant decline in product prices across various segments of the industry chain, resulting in underperformance and continued losses.

The announcement stated that the company recently received a notice from Yangzhou Bangjie. To reduce operational losses and further enhance equipment performance, ensuring subsequent product quality and efficient, safe production, Yangzhou Bangjie has temporarily suspended operations of its high-efficiency PV solar cell production line starting from March 1. A comprehensive overhaul of core production equipment is being carried out, with the suspension expected to last no more than three months. Updates on the resumption of production will be disclosed in due course.
