SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 75,075 yuan/mt, down 122 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate was at 74,100-76,100 yuan/mt, with an average price of 75,100 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate was at 72,650-73,650 yuan/mt, with an average price of 73,150 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. The transaction price center of spot lithium carbonate continued to move downward. From the current supply and demand perspective of lithium carbonate, both supply and demand are increasing, but the supply side is growing more significantly, leading to a continued surplus in lithium carbonate. Under this surplus condition, spot lithium carbonate prices have some downside room, accompanied by sideways movement.
