Ningbo Zinc: Limited Market Quotations, Premiums Continue to Decline [SMM Midday Review]

SMM February 14 News: The mainstream transaction price of 0# zinc in the Ningbo market was around 23,770-24,115 yuan/mt. Regular brands in Ningbo quoted a premium of 10 yuan/mt against the 2503 contract and a premium of 10 yuan/mt against the Shanghai spot price, with mainstream quotes in Ningbo primarily against the 2503 contract. During the first time period, Honglu-v quoted a premium of 10 yuan/mt against the 2503 contract; during the second time period, traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous period. Today, there were few traders quoting in the market. Zinc prices rose significantly in the morning, and downstream enterprises were hesitant to purchase due to high prices, with almost no inquiries or purchases. Amid sluggish sales, Ningbo spot premiums continued to decline, and overall spot transactions remained weak.
