[Total Amount 46.4 Billion Yuan! 4 Billion Yuan Fast-Charging Power Battery Project Settles in Meishan, Sichuan]

SMM has learned that on the afternoon of December 26, the Meishan (Shanghai) Investment Promotion Conference and the 2024 Project Centralized Signing Ceremony were held at the Shanghai International Convention Center. During the signing ceremony, 40 projects were signed with a total contract value of 46.4 billion yuan. Among them, the Jiangsu Chaodian (Meishan) power battery Pack and battery cell production project has a total investment of 4 billion yuan, aiming to build an annual production capacity of 10 GWh superfast charging power battery Packs and 4 GWh superfast charging power battery cells. Once completed and operational, the project is expected to achieve a total output value of 6 billion yuan. The Shanghai Jingyou New Energy (Meishan) PV 10 GW module production and manufacturing project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in two phases and, upon completion, will become the largest PV module production site in Meishan.
