This week, the domestic spot market average price of battery-grade manganese sulphate was around 6,172 yuan/mt, with the MTD spot market average price at 6,215 yuan/mt and the MTD price index at 6,117 yuan/mt. This week, the average spot market price of battery-grade manganese sulphate in China was approximately 6,172 yuan/mt. The MTD average spot market price of battery-grade manganese sulphate was 6,215 yuan/mt, and the MTD price index was 6,117 yuan/mt.

In terms of supply, high-purity manganese sulphate producers generally maintained normal production. Affected by the continuous price decline in the earlier period, market expectations were relatively pessimistic, leading to more cautious production strategies. Compared to the same period last year, the overall market supply was lower.

In terms of demand, downstream ternary cathode precursor companies mostly relied on long-term contract purchases, with limited trading volume from scattered orders. Some companies remained in a wait-and-see mode. As the signing of long-term contracts approached, the market showed a state of negotiation. However, as demand is expected to remain weak next week, the spot price of high-purity manganese sulphate may continue to face downward pressure.
